Hello! I’m Val Duarte. I'm a Multidisciplinary Designer & Researcher.

From building programs from the ground up, to leading research initiatives and managing complex projects, my work is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, trying to connect the dots, and a belief in the power of creativity and design to make our world more human.

I’ve collaborated with and led multiple social initiatives with organizations such as the Creativity Everything lab based out of Toronto Metropolitan University, Creato, KUNE, and most recently CivicAction.

I’m the lead author of Creating with Nature, a deck of cards and educational tool published in 2024 that is designed to spark new ways of thinking and doing by reconnecting with the natural world.
